Master Ray Blydenburgh
6th Degree Degree Black Belt
Ray Blydenburgh began his Martial Art training in 1972 while living in Maine where he studied Okinawan White Crane Karate. He received his first Black Belt in the late
70's in that system. While studying engineering at the University of Massachusetts he was
commissioned in the United States Army, and scored in the top 10 percentile of the country.
During this time, he continued his martial arts training at various martial arts training halls in
Kempo, Hapkido and Boxing. In 1985 he was honorably discharged and one year later started studying Tang Soo Do
as his primary art. When he received his black belt in 1992
in Tang Soo Do he began his studies in T'ai Chi Ch'uan while continuing
his study of Tang Soo Do.
Using his extensive martial arts background he has combined all of
these styles into one solid system. He believes that Martial Arts is not
just one style but a selection of many techniques to meet today's need
for self-protection and positive personal growth
